Quantum Measurement Scientist required as part of a quantum measurement team to lead the design and performance of experiments on advanced multi-qubit devices to achieve and benchmark high-fidelity quantum operations.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute multi-qubit experiments using spin-based or superconducting qubits coupled to microwave resonators.
- Collaborate with chip design and theory teams to optimize architectures and improve gate fidelities beyond current state-of-the-art.
- Work closely with theorists to analyze performance, refine qubit control strategies, and implement quantum algorithms and error-correction protocols.
- Mentor and support junior scientists and engineers within the lab environment
- PhD in quantum physics, applied physics, or a closely related field.
- Postdoctoral or early industry experience working on semiconductor spin qubits or superconducting qubits.
- Strong experimental background in quantum device control, low-temperature measurements, and microwave engineering.
- Prior exposure to hybrid circuit QED (cQED) systems is highly valued.
- Experience with Multi Qubit measurements, at least 2 qubit gates but strong preference for experience with multi qubit arrays.
